I'm Azeez, a CAD Designer and Draftsman with more than seven years of experience in the engineering industry. My passion and expertise lie in designing 2D drawings, 3D models and photo-realistic renderings of products in SolidWorks and AutoCAD software programs.
I received my Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Computer Aided Drafting Technology from the Pennslyvania College of Technology in May 2012, and my Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Management from PCT in December 2016.
The combination of artistry and engineering of Computer-Aided Design provides a unique thrill, one which is as engaging and innovative as it is challenging. It’s my firm belief that a good challenge offers an opportunity to develop and grow, which is why I make a point to seek out new challenges in both work and life every day. When not working, I enjoy playing soccer, volunteering locally, and spending time with my friends and family.
About CAD and SolidWorks
Computer-Aided Design, or CAD, is the process of using special computer software programs to draw and simulate new products and designs. SolidWorks is a 3D CAD software used to create accurate 2- and 3-dimensional product representations and AutoCAD is used to outline and draw 2-dimensional product details. Both are important in allowing designers to visualize and communicate the final product, its subassemblies, dimensions, etc., to engineers making the product.
CAD and its software tools use real measurements to fully understand how the actual product will work, and it allows immediate modifications and changes to take place, if necessary, before manufacturing the product. These factors allow designers and engineers to maximize productivity, time, and resources to create products better, faster, and more cost-effectively.
